  9/11 Flight 93 Flag Raising Ceremony for Deora Bodley '99

  8:00 AM to 8:30 AM

  As we near the 25th anniversary of September 11, we remember with love lifer alum Deora Bodley '99, the youngest passenger on United Flight 93 on September 11, 2001.

   

  Every year on 9/11, we fly the Flight 93 memorial flag that Deora's mother gave LJCDS in Deora's memory, and in memory of all of those on Flight 93 who gave their lives. 

   

  On Friday, September 11, we invite our community to join us for the short ceremony before school as we remember Deora and raise the Flight 93 memorial flag. If you would like to attend, please meet us on the football field bleachers at 8 a.m. on Friday morning, 9/11.

   

  When: Friday, September 11 | 8-8:25 a.m.

  Where: Flag Pole/Bleachers on Ings Family Football Field

   

  Per tradition, immediately following the flag ceremony, the Middle School band will commemorate the day with a performance in the Middle School quad, around 8:25 a.m. Please join us for that if your time allows.
