It’s a celebration of the arts! Junior kindergarten through Grade 12 art class students are represented in this annual art show, which features a variety of 2D and 3D artwork, including drawings, paintings, photography, ceramics, and more. Students of all ages, parents, caregivers, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, teachers, and coaches are invited to attend the opening night festival.
The Upper School National Art Honor Society students have planned an art festival for all, including:
Free food and live music
Face painting, a caricature booth, a photo booth, and more
Art sale to benefit a local nonprofit
Prints, buttons, and stickers of student artwork
Ceramics made by students
T-shirts and bags that attendees can block print at the event using custom, hand-made blocks
Purchases can be made with cash or Venmo. All proceeds from the art sales will go to the local arts nonprofit, The Hill Street Country Club. They work to create “an inclusive, diverse art culture for the socioeconomic landscape of North County San Diego” by creating opportunities for local artists to have their work shared, hosting events and workshops for local communities, and more.
For those who can’t make it to the opening night art festival, Community Hall will be open to view the art show until Wednesday, March 19, during regular school hours when it is not in use for another meeting.
